The Big Kahuna: 2011

Welcome to my blog. I plan to do occasional posts before I set off and then every
few days on the trip. On May 12th 2012 I will be dipping the rear wheel of my bike
into the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles and heading for the Atlantic in Boston.

Why the ride is called THE BIG KAHUNA

No fantastic reason. There is a1999 film called THE BIG KAHUNA which received mixed reviews. I liked it. It was set in mid America starring Kevin Spacey and was all about the big commercial deal. Well this fantastic ride is a big deal for me and the name felt right. Give the film a try. It would be great if you would follow my blog by filling in the follow me bit on the right.
