The Big Kahuna: January 2012

Welcome to my blog. I plan to do occasional posts before I set off and then every
few days on the trip. On May 12th 2012 I will be dipping the rear wheel of my bike
into the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles and heading for the Atlantic in Boston.

Four months tomorrow and I will be in LA starting the ride. My focus is on getting some miles in and losing some weight. Put some new schwalbe tyres on the bike after a split tyre on Tuesday. Hopefully fifty miles tomorrow.
The mind is there just meed the body to sort itself out.

blahdblah design (www.blahdblah.com) kindly agreed to design and print some sponsorship posters and leaflets along with the design of t-shirts and the blog you are looking at now.

Will start the big push for sponsorship in March. Anyone with some great ideas for sponsorship please let me know.
