Firstly a picture from yesterday of Winslow and the famous corner.
As we were about to set off I had a flat tyre and a broken front spoke so some quick repairs were required. I did not puncture during the day however the group had around 20 punctures.
The temperature was around 100F. Somehow I seem to be getting used to it.
Rode most of the day in a three man pace line which worked well.
There was major road construction which held us up or around 45 minutes.
We crossed the state line into New Mexico

Most of the stores are run by najavo Indians and sell craft items.
We also crossed a time zone so we are 7 hours different from UK rather than 8. This will make it easier to phone home at a sensible time.
The countryside again has been fairly flat although we have climbed over 3000 feet during the day.
There are a few very tired looking riders so most are in bed by 8pm.
There is a great team spirit with everyone helping each other out.
Onwards tomorrow to the continental divide.
