Welcome to my blog. I plan to do occasional posts before I set off and then every
few days on the trip.
On May 12th 2012 I will be dipping the rear wheel of my bike
into the Pacific Ocean
in Los Angeles and heading for the Atlantic in Boston.
I am funding the trip myself, however I am seeking sponsorship for The Multiple Sclerosis
Society. Please consider supporting my sponsorship by clicking on the "Sponsor me " link.
Note all of your donation will be going to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

I am looking forward to this great challenge and hope you find my blog of interest.
Please enter your email details on the right to receive updates. Thanks

Day 35 82 miles into Richmond Indiana

A photograph of the three Brits in their decorated helmets.

Today was warm and humid. Temperatures in mid 90's, however it was a good days riding. Indianapolis is a massive town as we skirted around it. We then passed through a number of small towns.

The local girls dance group were doing a car wash event and offered to clean my bike.

We were held up as a massive long train passed through.

Changed two flat tyres today for other riders. I seem to have got a reputation for doing quick and effective puncture repairs.

Two long days ahead 104 and 97 miles as we head eastwards and northwards towards Boston.
