Firstly our normal start time of 6 45 am was delayed to 10 15 am due to thunder and lightning storms. We essentially hung around in the hotel lobby
waiting for the weather to clear.

As you can see team fully prepared.
Secondly as we left too late the focus was on getting to the other end rather than taking photos.
We crossed the illinois river
The ride was fairly flat though large corn fields and we kept dry.
I arrived at the hotel around 6 30 pm so it was quick shower before dinner and off to bed.
Tomorrow hopefully a soft 84 miles into Champaign for a rest day.
